Sunday Confessional V.5

41. I’ve recently started collecting vintage pillowcases – I have some of the most BEE-utiful patterns and can’t wait to build a reading pit full of pillows for my children and I to enjoy.

42. I know your kids aren’t supposed to be your best friend, but Jemma is one of my dearest friends. I’ll always be her mama, but spending every day together – laughing, crying, eating – how can we not feel like friends?

43. I’m definitely a sweet tooth. I never crave salty things. Well, except for kettle corn which is sweet and salty. But who wouldn’t crave kettle corn – DELISH!

44. Picking up the mail is one of the highlights of each day for me. Not that I want the postmen to work on Sundays, but I feel sad on Sundays knowing there is no new mail :(

45. I have an obsessive personality – nothing too insane, but I get fixated on projects, books, shows, etc. and can’t stop until it is physically impossible to keep going. I get like this with sewing projects staying up until 1-2am because I am so. close. to. being. done. P.S. You make many more mistakes when sewing in the wee hours of the day. I also feel this way about Hunger Games – read them so fast and now I sit, waiting for March when the movie comes out. My heart beats faster just thinking about it!

46. Speaking of fabric – I just bought a jelly roll with my birthday gift certificate. I can’t wait to make my first quilt!

47.When my sisters and I were little we used to pretend fight by staging wrestling matches on our parent’s bed.

48. I love eating out with all my heart and if I could eat out every single meal I probably would. Right now my most favorite restaurants are Panera Bread, La Buca (in Portland), and Jamba Juice.
49. I don’t really like ice cream, but I love fro-yo. Especially pomegranate flavor. I’ve never had a real pomegranate though ….

50. From pre-pregnancy to now I have gathered such a range of clothing sizes – 6 to 14 and small to x-large, plus maternity! It’s both happy and sad. Happy because obviously I’m blessed to have been able to adjust my wardrobe to my changing size. Sad because so often I put together an outfit and have the perfect addition, except it turns out to be the wrong size.

That reading pit and pillows look awesome! It looks like you could do them from scratch with a lot of quilt fabrics. Also, I always say that my sweet tooth is larger than my head! Not so great a trait for a diabetic. Even when I crave savory, its usually in the form of carbs. :-P
