This was us 3 years ago … May 18, 2007Approximately 1 hour before Dominic proposed to me near the Portland waterfront.
The day I officially became the luckiest girl in the world!
I was 20, he was turning 21 the next week. Neither of us had jobs. I had just finished by Bachelors and he was living with his brother and sister-in-law while looking for a job. We had only been dating for 5 months. When you know “they are the one”; you just know. The whole argument of being “financially ready before embarking on marriage” didn’t hold any weight with us. We were in love AND STILL ARE TODAY! Plus, getting married meant we would save on rent! So really, it was a financially wise decision to get married :) God has blessed us in extreme ways in the last three years. Marriage was a good decision, Dominic was just the right guy for me. And now we are going to be a family of 3!
Three years ago, Dominic was shopping for an engagement ring for me … today he is off to round of an Uppa Baby stroller via Craigslist for our baby. Isn’t he fabulously amazing? I sure think so!
Crazy what 3 years can do to 2 people.

three years ago, I was saying goodbye to my then-boyfriend (who is now my husband) as he was leaving for basic training. A few short months later, he left for Iraq, where he remained for 15 months. It was a trying time, that's for sure. In fact, I ended up breaking up with him *face-palm* because I didn't think I could handle the stress and constantly worrying about him over there while trying to do well in college.But, all's well that ends well… we are now happily married and expecting our first baby, too. :)
Three years ago hubs was playing baseball professionally in Mexico, and I was working full time, and our 15 mo. old baby girl just started her daycare career. STRESSFUL. MISERABLE. But, a month later he came home, he retired from the game, and we settled in to sweet family life. That was a fun trip down memory lane :)
Three years ago I was graduating from college and planning a July wedding to become a Mrs.Ha, I'm also craigslisting for a boutique stroller (Teutonia, Uppababy, Bugaboo). Congrats on snagging one!
Three Years ago….I had just vacationed at Disney with boyfriend (now husband)…wondering if he was ever going to propose. I really thought he would do it at Disney…but nope…he waited until December, just before Christmas and it was perfect.
