It’s the final countdown!
To what you ask? To my darling baby sister, Hannah’s wedding!
The big day is November 26th, and one month prior, on October 26th, Katie and I hosted her bridal shower. It was a Pampered Chef party (did you know you could registry with them?) and we snacked on amazing ham and cheese squares, fruit salad and other brunch snacks. But, as with all gatherings, the games that brought about mounds of laughter and conversation were the best part.
If you’re hosting a bridal shower soon, you’ve got to add this game to your party queue! Or, if you don’t have one on the radar, you can pin this idea for later. Just click this link for easy pinning!
Supplies + Set Up
- One 12 pack of Cottonelle Triple Roll (Target coupon here, valid while supplies last)
- Camera – for documenting the fun
- Timer
- Party guests divided into three teams
“Design the Gown” Game Details
Before the official timer begins, ask party guests to divide into three teams. Each team needs to choose one “bride” and the rest of the team take on the role as “designers”. Give each team 4 rolls of Cottonelle and instruct them to design the true bride’s wedding dress. Of course, this only works if the bride’s dress is a secret which in our case, it is! They have just 10 minutes to outfit their model bride before judging begins! The goal is to recreate the true bride’s dress showcasing 5 categories – headpiece, neckline, waist, shape and length.
Set the timer and watch the fun begin! When time is up, the true bride awards points in each category to the team who came the closest to matching her actual gown.
See those detailed necklines and gorgeous bouquets? What about the awesome garter? I’m tellin’ ya, this game is awesome! |
The winning bride! |
And … the true bride with her Cottonelle bouquet that will be her prop during the ceremony rehearsal! |
Don’t forget to print your Target coupon for Cottonelle Triple Roll – it’s for a FREE box of Kleenex when you purchase a 12 pack (or larger) of Cottonelle Triple Roll while supplies last.
