I had my first midwife appointment today! It seems surreal that I’m back in the prenatal care routine. Then again, this has kind of been my loop for the last decade.
I have a solid month left in my first trimester … and maybe a few residual weeks of not feeling well. Pretty much, I’m counting down the days. This round has been ROUGH. Is it true that each pregnancy gets harder?
A few things are keeping me on the up and up though. Some of which are these new favorites …
ONE — I’m excited to partner with AU-Rate again! Their designs are so classic and even on these lackluster home days I still pop in my favorite earrings – the midi bar!
TWO — I’ve wanted this book forever and it just dropped in price to $6.50! I did a poor job chronicling things for Jemma and Max (and that has almost stopped me from starting now), but I have three more kids who I can do this with sooooo, it’s time!
THREE — For our science unit this year we’re delving into personal health. Max and I are reading Guy Stuff together. Jem and I read The Care and Keeping of You last year and are moving on to book two this year. Highly recommend!
FOUR — Sounds silly (and loud), but these have kept the kids so entertained lately! The main rule is OUTSIDE ONLY.
FIVE — I saved the best for last! I had blood taken for the SneakPeek Early Gender DNA Test today! I’m both skeptical and hopeful. I haven’t decided if we’ll announce early or keep it to ourselves until an ultrasound confirms in the fall. We shall see!

I look the jewelry and book you linked to! Also, I had no idea that there was such a thing as an early gender DNA test, that seems crazy to me. I hope it went well!!
