One / / / I try really hard to go to bed between 10-11pm. Max still wakes often to nurse/snuggle at night and is up for the day between 6-7am so having 8ish hours of rest is necessary to a happy day. My “bed time” doesn’t always happen, but I try. Like now, it’s 11:09pm.
Two / / / At restaurants I tend to order the same things – French onion soup (Applebee’s has the best), cobb salads, crab melts (usually like an open faced sandwich with warm crab or seafood creamy blend topped with a tomato or artichoke and cheese … mmmmm), burgers with guacamole and red onions, and pizza with pepperoni, olives, cashews and pineapple. I’m a sucker for strawberry lemonades too!
Three / / / My first interaction with my husband was telling my then-boyfriend to make his dorm mate (Dominic) be quieter while we talked on the phone.
Four / / / I do not like it when plans change. Call me a control freak. Call me organized. But once a plan is made please don’t stress me out with last minute changes. Although, I have gotten so much more relaxed since having kiddos as they’ve been teaching me the art of “go with the flow”.
Five / / / I love the rain. Hence, Washington is the perfect place for me to live! Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy sunny days too. But seeing rain on window panes and hearing it on the roof top brings a smile to my face. And this week Jemma started singing, “rain rain, go way, come gin, nuther day, Jemmie Max wanna play, go way, rain, go way” – um, yay, you’d want it to rain to if it meant you got to hear that sweet girl’s singing voice.
Bonus :) / / / As evidenced above, being a boy mama is really growing on me. I kinda sorta love it. I mean, how could I not with that sweet fella hanging out on my hip every day.
Wanna play along and share five things about you? Please do! And leave the link in the comments so I can check it out!

You'd love a girl too (and after your April Fool's post I thought there was potential you may have one, lol!), but there is totally something unique about boys and their mama :)
