2012 Service Project Update

$175! Together, we raised $175 to sponsor our two foster girl’s Christmas gifts. It was such a thrill to go shopping for our girls. I started on Black Friday and just wrapped things up in time for drop off. Here’s a peek at everything!
For our 2 year old … 4 puzzles, coloring book and crayons, learning laptop, 7 books, pretend doctor set, Memory, a bunch of clothes, and sparkly shoes! Ohmygoodness, do you see that adorable deer on the toddler tee?

Our 5 year old had very specific requests for Christmas … an art easel and doll house. The art easel is two-sided and once set up it has a place for a big roll of paper to host many an art project. I included chalk, markers, and colored pencils for our little artist as well as an extra coloring book. The doll house was my ultimate Black Friday steal – regularly $100, on sale for $45! Plus, it was the very last one and my mom had to literally climb the Toys R Us shelves to reach it! Add a cute outfit and CandyLand and I think we’ll be making a 5 year old girl very happy this Christmas.

Lucky me/us, gifts don’t have to be wrapped upon delivery, so I’m boxing everything up and delivering it to the church on Sunday!

Thank you all so much for collaborating with me on this project. I love working together towards a common goal – one that will surely bring extra smiles on Christmas morning! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
