Posing With Our Ferns

My dear friend and photographer of choice, Christine of LCS Photography, met us at our property for a lil’ afternoon photo shoot prior to Mother’s Day. Even though it is taking awhile to get everything squared away on the property (darn county), I am happy that we were able to stage our photo shoot on the raw land before it gets changed up for the house.

Of course, I’m pleased as punch with how all our photos turned out … I’ve got quite a few to share so I’m planning to split them up in a few posts. Enjoy the sweetness that is my family :)

P.S. Taking pics with a toddler is a whole new ball game! You’ve got to time their nap for ultimate happiness. Sing songs and tickle to keep the smiles coming. Then, hope that the whole fam happens to look at the camera at the same time! My. oh. my.

Just wait until you try to get good timing with two kiddos for family pictures. Getting a picture where everyone is looking at the camera…smiling…AND looks good is quite a task. When all else fails, as long as I look good that is which picture gets picked :)
