Princess Belle Smoothie

I’ve made it a goal to get veggies into my boys via smoothie a few times each week. For a long time they baulked at the idea of a GREEN SMOOTHIE or any other that had a hint of vegetable despite how delicious it may be.

And then I named our typical green smoothie … HULK SMOOTHIE.

Didn’t change a single ingredient. Just changed the name. Eli gulped it down and his brothers weren’t far behind him. Because, duh, Hulk is super cool!

Then the boys requested a Black Panther Smoothie (purple … just add berries) and a Flash Smoothie (yellow … very similar to Princess Belle) and an Iron Man Smoothie (red … strawberries or cherries). Done and done.

Not being a huge superhero fan my niece recently asked for a Princess Belle Smoothie and I told her mama we’d work up a very fabulous golden yellow recipe just for her. The boys said it turned out perfect so naturally we invite you to “be our guest” and give it a try!

Princess Belle Smoothie

Be our guest with this delightfully delicious smoothie inspired by Princess Belle. Perfect for little princes and princesses alike!

Ingredients

  • 10 ice cubes
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1/2 cucumber peeled
  • 1/2 cup pineapple fresh or frozen
  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1/2 cup mango chunks frozen
  • 1 cup Naked Pina Colada juice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender and blend for 60 seconds or until smooth.

Our Costco has the Naked Pina Colada juice in a giant bottle which served as the perfect base for our Princess Belle Smoothie. If you can’t find that you can sub Naked Mango (just go light on it as your smoothie may turn out more orange) … balance out the needed liquid with more almond milk or perhaps some apple juice.
