I’ve never been pregnant in the Fall or Winter. Jemma was an October baby; and it was warm up until her birth day. Max is my August man, so again, hot. For both pregnancies I lived in flowy dress, tanks and shorts.
This time around, I’m figuring out how to layer and accessorize in preparation for the cooler months. So far, so good if you ask me :) A black base layer will most likely be my go to and from there I can spice things up with lots of my non-maternity pieces … scarves, shoes, cardigans and, of course, jewelry!
Bracelets have become my go to over the years. Motherhood makes necklaces difficult, but if I find a good fit on a bracelet, I’m in love! That’s how it was with this BeadforLife paper bead wrap made in Uganda. Not only do I love the earthtones, I love this mission behind BeadforLife. They’re doing fabulous things in the lives of so many African women!
