See my clever post title? A winter flock … well, technically, a winter FROCK, but the sweet birds made me change things up :) Sometimes when it’s late at night and I’m mustering up all my creativity I come up with things like that. Midnight is like that, I guess.
So, on to the snow. Snow, snow, snow! We finally joined the ranks of snowscapes here in the Northwest. Yeah! It lasted all of two days, but that was good enough for a few winter weather photos. More importantly, a sleigh ride and snowman for the littles. We bundled up and made our way to church – breakfast sandwich and grande double decaf americano with caramel flan and extra steamed cream in hand. I was feeling a little crummy, but there’s nothing like warm breakfast and a fresh outfit with somewhere to go get me showered and out the door!
I’ve been smitten with this scarf ever since my birthday and the lovely Aimee sent it to me as a little surprise! With the matching arm warmers! Have you read Noonday’s story? Whether you’re on the adoption path or looking to support fair trade – Noonday is the place to shop! They were a brilliant match for the Elodie tunic from Joules. One, let’s talk about “Elodie” – isn’t that the most beautiful name? It’s British like Jemma and ohsosupersweet. Absolutely adding it to my baby girl/sister name list. Two, tunics are my best friend because I can pair them with ultra comfy leggings. Not a full dress, therefore more nursing accessibility, but not just a shirt which means my bum is covered. That’s winning. Three, as I’ve shared before – the quality of Joules pieces is amazing!
Now … back to the rain, yoga pants and my box of tissues.
