Baby boy has birthed a number of new food favorites during this pregnancy. Lemonade, whether it be plain, strawberry, or raspberry, is quickly climbing the charts as my number one, but a few family favorite recipes are mixed in as well. Most of them revolve around fruit and I can’t wait for summer fresh versions to enter the market soon!
I’ve got three fruit-filled recipes to share with you today! All of which are super easy and the perfect solution to this pregnant mama’s hungry tummy. Plus, they are topped with the divine COOL WHIP Whipped Topping. Ready to tickle your tastebuds?

Quick lil’ sidenote … Many of my favorite recipes come from family. Alright, now to the recipes …
This first one, Tasha’s Fruit Salad, has made an appearance at more family gatherings than I can count. It was always my number one request from my sister-in-law, Tasha, and now that she has moved to Texas, I’ve adopted it as one of my potluck staples.
1 16 oz tub of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1 small package of instant vanilla pudding
1 can fruit cocktail (my favorite is the version with extra cherries)
1 can mandarin oranges
Add COOL WHIP to a large mixing bowl and incorporate dry pudding dust
Drain canned fruit and dice bananas
Getting stir in fruit
Refridgerate for 1-2 hours before serving
Next up is super simple, but a sweet treat in memory of my Grammy, her amazing Raspberry Supreme.
1 piece of white bread
1 pint of fresh raspberries
1/3 cup of half and half
Scoop of COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
Rip bread into bite size pieces and place into a pretty bowl (pretty bowl optional, but it does add to the sweetness if you select something adorably vintage)
Add your raspberries on top of the bread
Pour half and half on top and add a dollop of COOL WHIP
Let soak for a minute or two and enjoy while watching a Rodger’s and Hammerstein classic!
Last, but not least, my latest creation that will definitely be making multiple appearances in the future, Roasted Pear a la Mode. I most recently served this as a part of our taco salad night. I had wanted to create something caramel-y, like empanadas to further incorporate the Mexican theme, but the pantry wasn’t feeling it. I made due and luckily came out with a favorite!
1 pear (I like Bosc), sliced in half and cored
1 t butter
1 T brown sugar
2 T walnuts or pecans, chopped
Ice cream (I had toffee ice cream on hand which was divine, but vanilla or another soft flavor would do)
1/2 C COOL WHIP
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Lay pear halves on a baking sheet and fill cored center with butter, brown sugar, and nuts
Bake for 20 minutes
Transfer pears to serving plate, being sure not to slosh out the now melted center
Add a scoop of ice cream and a 1/4 cup of COOL WHIP to each pear right before serving
