Happy Halloween & The Best Caramel Corn EVER

Hope you are all having a fun and safe Halloween! I went out for errands as I’m not a huge fan of Halloween. Not for any particular reason – it’s just not my holiday.

Sidenote … I loved Kristin’s post about how Christians react to Halloween.

So, while mama was away, Daddy and Jemma Pebbles Flintstone played!

To welcome the Fall Dominic and I have been munching on this CARAMEL CORN. So easy, so delicious. Make some for yourself!!!

In saucepan, simmer:
1/2 stick butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup karo syrup
After taking off heat, add:
1/4 tsp. baking soda
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper
Pour 1 bag of plain popcorn on the sheet, drizzle with caramel
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour

sweet costume Jemmakins! We don't really do Halloween in Australia but it always comes up. I read a really good article about a christian response to it by Mark Driscoll. I like the one you linked to as well.
