We’re just about home from good ol’ Texas and I can’t wait to share all the goodies from Jemma’s party! I’ve got lots of pictures from the actual party and this one last post on the One-derland preparations … FAVORS!
Somehow I managed to hardly get any pictures of the favors. I guess it just got missed in the hustle. Kind of like the cake topper at my wedding, totally forgot to put it on the cake!
There were 4 options for favors:
- White Rabbit Treats (AKA yogurt covered pretzels and raisins)
- Mad Hatter Tea (AKA a mix of yummy tea bags)
- Alice bows (made by ME!)
- Wonderland coloring book (made by me, but inspired by Fee at It Won’t Be Like This For Long)
The Alice Bows were a trial and error project which began with Jemma needing one for her Alice outfit. I got on a role and before I knew it I had whipped up a handful from her dress fabric scraps.
Some of the bows are on alligator clips and some are on snap clips I found on eBay for super cheap. I plan to make some more out of other fabric scraps I’ve collected so perhaps I’ll do a little tutorial someday. Once I had the assembly line rocking and rolling they were pretty easy! And cute if I don’t say so myself!
