Pinterest Project – Top 5

Pinterest is like coffee. It’s a way to pick yourself up during a five-minute break, but don’t consume it at night or you won’t get any sleep.
Word.
There is no way I’m ever going to do all the Pinterest projects I’ve fallen in love with. To narrow it down a bit, I wanted to share a few faves. If I’m lucky 1-2 might come to fruition in the next month. We’ll see …

Jemma’s soon-to-be walking little feet NEED these

Jem is pretty obsessed with a Sesame Street cloth book close to this one – I’d love to make her one myself with fun shapes and touch ‘n feel add ons

Shaking noisy things is a new favorite activity around here – I need to find a plastic tube somewhere, any ideas?

I’ve been wanting to create a prayer wall or bulletin board to post pictures of people and things we are praying for. I think I’ll be better at it if I have a visual to glance at everyday.

I’m totally starting this for Jem this year .. age 1 should be interesting :)

The eye spy is a Voss water bottle! I know this because my husband picked one up at a Fresh Market and reuses every day since it is made of glass. It's pretty funny because when I saw that eye spy glass on Pintereset I HAD to repin it! The only reason he bought the Voss water was because he remembered the spoiled kid on the movie Grown Ups talking about his expensive Voss water, so we had to get it when we saw in the store. Anyway…rock on with the Pinterest….oh, and guess what…I was planning to blog about pinterest soon! ha ha. What crafty, blogging mama isn't blogging about the sweet addiction though? :)

It kind of looks like a shampoo bottle. You could probably find a clear one and remove the label or maybe find a smaller one in a travel toiletry section.

Oh I love all these ideas! In particular the one just above. Such a simple, fun idea. I reckon a picture from the girls first birthday parties would be a nice start! What program do you use to edit photos? I use picassa – I especially like how you can write text so easily onto a photo. But I'm always on the look out for other cool/easy editing programs :)

I need to try Picasa. I've been using photobucket which links to fotoflexer. Although, I got Photoshop Elements last Christmas and just installed it on my computer so I'm going to start playing around with that in my free time … when I find some :) ________________________________
