Today is a day of accomplishments.
For starters, Eli and I are celebrating one week of life as two! I CANNOT believe he is already a week old. You’ll hear me say it all year long, but time with little ones really does fly by at lightning speed. #allthemomtears
Next up is big props for Dominic who managed to get all three big kids off to our homeschool coop’s weekly Friday School. It sounds like a normal task, but really, it overwhelms me a bit on a regular day, so for him, who has never been to coop, well, let’s just say he has earned another Daddy medal for sure!
Eli and I weren’t quite up to going this week, so off this cute trio plus Daddy went. I packed snacks this morning which included something extra special and wished them well! Jem is especially excited to participate in her classes (two art ones and another all about Little House on the Prairie!) and the boys always enjoy hanging with other kids their age. Coop is such a blessing to us homeschool families!
It’s always nice to have a treat to look forward to on the first day of something. And since our first day of homeschool was a pretty normal day at home, coop takes the place of all those first day of school feels. Needless to say, Jemma and Max loved finding their TEDDY SOFT BAKED Filled Snacks in their backpacks. I mean, wouldn’t you?
