Revisions was created as a way of bringing together designers from differing technical backgrounds in order to collaborate in a multi-disiplinary way.  Our objective is to create everyday pieces of functional art.  I am the mother of 2 (2.5 years and 11 months – boy and girl) and work full time (Registered Dietitian). Sewing is my “me” time. My escape. I really love taking a beautiful piece of fabric and turning it into something usable (and beautiful). I have been sewing for ~10 years off and on but started sewing more a couple years ago. Many of my family and friends were having babies and I wanted to give them a gift that was both practical and fashionable. My favorite baby gifts were ones that I could actually use, but I didn’t always love having everything in my house scream “baby” (afterall, don’t we all have enough “screaming babies” hehe ). So the gifts that I started making for my friends and family used fabrics that I thought they would love (not necessarily a baby print).
I started selling my items on Etsy the beginning of 2011 after getting requests from family and friends to to make something for them so they could give it as a gift. I really enjoy creating and helping to make moms’ lives a little easier all while keeping a little bit of their own identity!

 I’m Ashley and I’m 23. Right now I’m planning my September 2012 wedding, raising a two year old ball of fire, and day dreaming about owning my own vintage inspired shop one day.I started my blog as a pregnancy journal for friends and family to keep updated on Peyton and her development/birth while I was away at school. That was almost 3 years ago, now it’s a hodge podge baby book of her day to day life, my wedding plans, fashion posts, and whatever else pops into my head at the time!
