2011 Etsy Spotlight: Crafty Mama Designs

Jemma’s first birthday didn’t ease me into the baby-to-toddler transition well. For some reason, it passed with so much happiness and celebration that I never stopped to connect that she isn’t a baby anymore. What has made me realize her toddlerhood is this nursing upset. It’s thrown me into an emotional tizzy. My baby isn’t really a baby.
We’re adapting how we snuggle.
How I comfort her.
How she falls asleep.
What she eats each day.
It’s been a sudden change, but obviously a change that must happen. Babies don’t stay babies forever.

This little nursing transition – whatever it turns out to be – has me hardcore reminiscing about Jemma as a baby girl. Just the same, it’s got me thinking about all the toddler things to come. Things like big girl hair clips.

Crafty Mama Designs definitely brings about the bright side of growing girls!

Jemma and I had the opportunity to review these beautiful hair clips and a few others. We’re in love with them and I’m doing my best to focus on all the fun that a toddler girl brings :)

Here’s a few more of my favorites from Crafty Mama Designs …

Here’s what Aviva from Crafty Mama Designs says about her shop’s beginnings:
I started making hair bows and clips for my daughter, and became so addicted to creating them that I soon had more than she would ever need, even for a girl who loves her accessories. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them :)

She’s offering 15% any purchase through December 31, 2011 with the code THATMAMA! Perfect timing for Fall accessories, stocking stuffers, gifts for the little girls in your life, and coordinating Christmas outfits!
