Consistency is not my strong point these days, but I do want to try out a new feature as I’ve really amped up my thrifting and garage sale-ing skills as of late.
May I present, my awesome stack of fabric steals!
About 15 yards of fabric for $12.
I’m telling you – garage sales are the way to go! I mean, I pre-wash all of my fabric anyways, so why not get a deal on it?
In addition to the fabric I got a couple yards of velcro, 3 packages of rik rak, 2 packages of satin binding, a wad of tangled lace, and 3 ruffled trims (think apron ruffles in blue, yellow, and white).
Project ideas so far …
- Butterfly and navy flannel (navy is on the bottom, you can hardly see it) – burp clothes
- Mariner’s fleece – Baby blanket with satin binding
- Pink gingham – summer bonnets for Jemma and her girlie friends
- Vintage flowers – pillowcase style dresses
- Scraps – the most sweet memory game
What thrifty treasures have you found this summer?
