Here’s the scoop on my July goals progress thus far …
CRAFT
I decided to work on a bunch of my crochet projects this month since I can take them on the go. I finished the super cute hair bow Jem was wearing in her 9 month pictures. I’m also plugging away on a bunch of crocheted play food as a part of her 1st birthday present. I’m hoping to score a wood play kitchen on Craigslist and my play food will start off her cooking career :) I’m almost done with a basket of strawberries and a yellow squash. An eggplant and lemon are in the works. These are some of my inspirations … here, here and here. Next on my list are 6 eggs to put in one of those mini cartons.
MEAL PLAN
I modified this a little bit and plan to meal plan just for the days I work, because those are the most stressful. This week we had:
Quinoa Enchiladas
Whole Wheat Waffles with Real Maple Syrup Bananas and Cream Cheese
Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice and Trader Joe’s Naan
WALKS
We got our 2 walks in this week! One on Friday night in an attempt to woo Jemma to sleep and another at the market when we did our veggie shopping for the week.

I’ve decided to read Anne’s House of Dreams as my book this month. It’s the third book in the Anne of Green Gables series. I’m a few chapters in and it’s fabulous. It’s one of those no pressure books that just makes me happy. I really want to get the movies on DVD now!
