Being surrounded by boxes I’ve noticed my mind wandering on to the next packing project … my bag for baby’s birthday!!!
What are the must-haves in my birth bag?
I know I’ll need a change of clothes and normal toiletries, but what else? Do you take a book or a deck of cards? Have I romanticized birth to think I might read of play a game!?!?!
Can’t wait to hear your suggestions :)

Not that I have experienced the birthing experience first hand…but I am definately planning on having an adorable robe (maybe kimono style)in a retro print. This way I can nurse, and still look cute and vintage when I have visitors (and also look back at my hospital pictures).

One more thing. Erin "accidentally" left her cute earrings in while birthing. I recomend having some earrings picked out to accidentally leave in as well. In her post-pushing pictures she looks tired but glamorous!Just a thought!

Pre-moistened face wash wipes. I was too tired to take a shower after the babies were born, but it sure was nice to freshen up a bit before the entourage of visitors started. Lots and lots of yoga pantsThe comfiest slippers everAt least 5 more baby outfits than you think you need, they poop, a lot.SOOTHIES NURSING PADS!!!!: they literally saved my life the first few weeks of nursing. I haven't found any better yet! They are silicone and just feel lovely when the thought of anything touching you makes you want to cry.Anything that distracts you: if you like to read, a book, I pod, anything that will let you get your mind focused somewhere else. Hope that helps! I am so excited for you :)
