FunBitesFunBites is offering our readers a giveaway of a FunBites Pack, a value of $22. FunBites is a kitchen tool that helps turn adult meals into engaging, bite-size pieces, for bento-style lunchboxes or small eaters at home. From our reviewer Gretchen of That Mama Gretchen:
Have a picky eater? Interested in helping your little ones be excited when trying new food? Tired of cutting food into tiny pieces? Wanting to explore bento box lunches? Ready to add some fun into the kitchen? Then you’ve got to check out FunBites! FunBites is one of those super handy kitchen accessories that makes preparing meals a billion times easier. When it comes to baby-led weaning and encouraging toddlers and preschoolers to try new things I’m all about infusing my meal plans with creativity. FunBites helps do that by making it simple to turn adult meals into bite-size pieces. Take our morning French toast for example. With FunBites I was able to turn this:
Into this, with a simple press, toggle, and pop maneuver:

I did the same thing with an almond butter and banana sandwich at lunchtime and again at dinner with our black bean, cheese, and avocado quesadillas. My two-year-old was thrilled to have a grown-up meal in easy to handle shapes. Take a peek at this video to see FunBites in action:

FunBites was created by a mom and dad who were tired of cutting their children’s food piece by piece. They asked themselves, Wouldn’t it be easier if there was something we could just press down into their food and bippity boppity boo!…food would be made into bite-sized pieces? Maybe our kids would try new foods and eat better; maybe mealtime could be less stressful and more fun. Is that even possible? And just like that, FunBites was born.

FunBites offers a creative way for everyone to enjoy their meals more. Parents have an easy way to make food prep more manageable and little ones gain eating independence while having fun with their food shapes. FunBites expertly cuts a plethora of flat foods, things like: burgers, melon, cold cuts, tofu, sandwiches, cheese, and pizza. I was truly impressed with the quality of FunBites.

This product is well made, manufactured in the USA, and is BPA free: all things I look for when investing in kitchen tools and products for my children. Clean-up is a pretty easy since FunBites are dishwasher safe. I did find that you have to do a quick rinse and sometimes a bit of scrubbing to release any stuck food. In most cases, though, everything pops out thoroughly. The only other downside is that I wish there were more shape options, I’d love to see some stars, circles, or animal shapes! Whether you have a picky eater or are just ready to spice up meals with some fun new shapes, FunBites is a wonderful addition to your cooking gadgets.
