The Fabulous Fall Scarf Tour | CT Handmade

I had great expectations of photographing the whole scarf tour outside. Alas, daylight savings plus cloud tears had other ideas. Boo! I won’t pretend to hate though. Library photos aren’t a bad option. Did you catch my brilliant spin on words there? “Great Expectations” for my library shoot? I’m surprised my SAHM brain can still come up with that kind of wit!

Alright, on to the swoon worthy treasures of CT Handmade. Main gal, Claire, and I have been emailing back and forth for a few months now. I’m telling you, this girl is a real trooper and the creator of gorgeous, I mean GORGEOUS yarn pretties.

In the midst of a big move, Claire managed to ship out my cowl. I don’t know how she squeezed it in; I think she must be part Wonder Woman!

I’m a single work from home mom of two, and thanks to the wonderful opportunities that have presented themselves to me, I’ve found myself back in this wonderful land called Etsy. When I’m not working with fiber, I’m working with paper … and there’s times when I fight myself trying to figure out which I want to play with first! What can I say? I love what I do! Please grab a cup of tea, coffee, or whatever you fancy and have a look around. Feel free to share my shop and items with others. Thanks for looking!

That’s Claire modeling a few of her creations!

You know those days where you want to blend in? You wear gray or black with muted colors and big sunglasses. I’ve had those days quite a bit lately. I love fall, but sometimes it makes me sulk. Sad. On rare occasions I channel my old self and want nothing less that bold! Hence, this bright and beautiful citron green cowl paired with polka dots! I can’t get enough of the rich color and although it’s bold, I feel like it matches everything as a grand statement piece. Plus, I can’t get enough of how cozy it is. Ah … cowls just feel like the perfect hug. And I love hugging :)
