F-A-M-I-L-Y is Everywhere

I wish I had some fancy news about the new house. But I don’t. If I had the emotional energy I would explain all the bumps we’ve run in to with the county. But I don’t have that either.
Rather than harp on the lack of progress I’ve been choosing to focus on something better. Something golden. Family.

During this time of transition we’ve been living with my parents. The last few months have been an evolving journey for us all. Especially since our stay began as a 3-4 month plan. That would mean we should be moving into our new home now, instead, it looks like this … still, and we have no projected move in date. But, while we’re walking the long walk of building a home, we’ve also had the opportunity to grow closer to people we hold most dear to our hearts.

We’re extremely thankful for my parent’s hospitality – my mama’s home cooked meals, the late night chats, and of course, the chance for Jemma and Max to kiss, snuggle, and pee on their Pop Pop and Mimi! I wish I was joking about the pee part, but I’m not.
As I focus on cherishing this unique time I’ve continued to dream about my decor plans for the new house. Because, obviously. One such element will be my new alphabet photography artwork. I’m hoping to showcase it in a photo collage wall like this or this. Then again, maybe I should leave it behind for my parents as a thank you gift for being the best family a girl could ask for. You know, in the chance we ever break ground and have a house to actually move in to!

Alphabet art begins with photographing everyday objects and elements of nature that look like a letter of the alphabet. Then, the photos are arranged to form a word – your name or an inspiration word. To learn more about how Alphabet Photography is created, take a peek at the time, patience, and love that goes into making check out the original photo letter art!

If you’re looking for a gorgeous piece of artwork for your home or a gift for someone you love I highly recommend Alphabet Photography. It comes beautifully wrapped and is ready for hanging upon arrival. Boom. Gift giving couldn’t be any more easy.

The perfect customized gift that includes photographs from all over the world, this is the original Alphabet Photography. Celebrity owners include: Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate, Tyra Banks, Ryan Seacrest, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, John Schneider, Nelly Furtado, and many more! This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Alphabet Photography. I was compensated with a piece of alphabet photography. The opinions and text of this post are all mine.

I have a photo like this with our last name. We bought it at a marriage conference in Idaho a few years ago and it is one of my favorite items in my home :)

we are in the EXACT same situation. We currently live with my parents. It has been 7 months, and we were only planning to be here 3 months! But there is such grace in this season. I have learned so much and we have grown as a family. God's plans are so much greater than our own.

I thought about doing our last name. But, my sister helped me pick out all the letters (there are 25+ photos available for each letter on this site) and she convinced me to do a word she could "borrow" and hang in her home someday! Either way, I love it and can't wait to hang all our family pictures around it. We have a session with our fave photography next week!

I couldn't agree more! You're not alone, sister! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers :)

I hope things with your house start to go as planned! That is frustrating! It is so sweet of your parents to take you guys in, and how helpful for you! :)

They are such a blessing! If I can't be in our house, I'm happy to be with them :)
