Homemade Christmas: Superhero Capes

It’s a good thing my two oldest niece and nephew haven’t figured out the internet yet. It won’t be long before I won’t be able to share my projects/their gifts before Christmas!

These superhero capes were inspired by none other than the infamous Pinterest. When I pinned this idea I knew it would be just perfect for my almost 2 1/2 year old niece, Karrington, and almost 3 year old nephew, Bishop.

These were so fun to personalize with their initials and favorite things – Bishop’s love of sports and Karrington’s sweet girly-ness! Just the other day, Karrington’s mama texted me a picture of Karrington pretending to be Spiderman with a blanket wrapped around her shoulders. Jackpot! I knew capes were totally in this season :)

I decided to leave the colors a surprise since both their mamas read my blog. Hopefully I can feature Karrington and Bishop modeling their capes after Christmas!

Awesome! Thank you for giving me my first idea of what to make my twins this year. They would love this. and I like the personalized letter thing as it would help people tell them apart (if I can get them to wear them together to events, ha). Thank you! Love love love pinterest, as well!
