Milk Made Momma is the first of our 2011 Etsy Spotlight and we can’t rave enough about their products. Milk Made Momma has a lovely assortment of goodies just for mamas and babies – sweet toys, cloth wipes, skincare, baby dresses, nursing pads and much more. I especially appreciate that Becca, the genius behind Milk Made Momma, whips up her creations during her children’s naptime. Sounds just like me!
Jemma and I received a set of cloth wipes and Milk Made Momma’s special “Baa-baa-bottom Cream” to review. The wipes are made of a super-soft, thick, double-brushed organic unbleached cotton flannel and come bigger than most which I love. They fit perfectly in my cloth wipe warmer when rolled up and Jemma giggles with delight when her bottom gets cleaned up. I mean, who wouldn’t love a soft, warm wipe at diaper time?
At less than a $1 a piece, these wipes are a quite cost effective. Especially when you consider their longevity – wipes can be used for runny noses and as a wash cloth when no longer needed as a diaper wipe. I know we’ll have ours around long past our diaper days.
In Jemma’s almost 4 months of life we have yet to use any diaper cream. Cloth diapers have been such a blessing in keeping her bum free of any issues. But, when we need it I’m glad I have Milk Made Momma’s WoollyBaby “Baa-baa-bottom Cream” on hand. It has such basic ingredients – 40% zinc oxide, 50% lanolin and 10% olive oil. Nothing I can’t pronounce which is ideal since I’ll be spreading it on my my baby’s sensitive bum. For those that have used diaper rash cream, this article speaks to the importance of using a more natural cream such as “Baa-baa-bottom Cream”. Only the best for our babies, right? Of course :)
