“It’s a mama and the boys date!”
That’s what Max says every day when we drop Jemma at Pre-K. He also cries that we’ve left behind “my girl Jemma”, but whatevs, generally, he seems to really appreciate our time together. And he should! Because, you know, sometimes I take him to the magical land of Costco. Other days he sweetly smiles and tells me he has a “weally good idea”. Which is donuts :) Most days we go usually home for chores and snacks and all that kind of normal life jazz. Max thinks that is just as special. And that’s one things I love about him. He’s simple. Being together is enough. Last week though, we mixed things up thanks to a break in the rain and took a strolled downtown!
Max acted as mini photographer with his auntie while Reid and I took his new stroller around the block. Fo reals, ya’ll, I’ve had quite a few strollers and the GB Lyfe Travel System Stroller, available at Babies R Us, has got to be one of the most versatile ones out there. Bottom line, we have a new favorite!
The GB Lyfe has a gorgeous urban feel bundled with maximum function. One of the best features is how the pram attachment easily converts into a toddler seat! I’ve never seen anything like it! Lots of strollers have a pram option and a toddler seat option, but I’ve never seen a stroller that marries those two into one piece – brilliant! Best of all though, is the basket. I can’t get over how huge the under carriage space is; perfect for a mom of 3. I was able to fit my huge Lily Jade bag, a ring sling, and Max’s coat with room to spare! Lots of room. I love it!
This stroller will see us through many a season, and, then Aunt Hannah has dibs on it for her someday children so I’ll get to see my future nieces and nephews in it too! The GB Lyfe Travel Stroller System offers a designer look at a very reasonable price, $379.99. For just shy of $400 you get a car seat, car seat base, stroller base, and the pram/toddler seat attachment. That means the GB Lyfe will see you from infancy through toddlerhood.
Right now we’re putting the pram piece to use most often, but as soon as Reid starts sitting up I’ll be able to convert it to the toddler seat with the clasp of one built in component. Then, away we’ll go on more adventures, more errands, more walks around downtown, and most of all, more memories with my little men.
