15 months

1-10 number blocks c/o Ah!Natural Baby

My Dear Girl … Could it be true that you are 15 months? How is that so!?! This last month has been such a brilliant adventure. You are a bright and beautiful gem and I am blessed to spend every day with you!

Jemma adores bath time and has developed quite an imagination with her bath creatures
Favorite toys include her dolls, books, wood blocks, and anything that sings a song
She grunts like a monkey when she sees stuffed animals in the store
Filling bags/boxes/buckets full of toys, dumping them out and starting again
“eye” and “eyes” while pointing/poking :)
“vroom” – car/train sounds
“roof, roof” – dog sounds
“uh oh”
Still hearing lots of “meow”, “ma”, and “da”
Points to her/my/your belly button when you ask for it
Side step walks to be funny
Holding her dolls and patting their back
Getting on and off the couch/bed by herself
Spaghetti squash and tomato sauce
Cheerios/puffs/Rice Chex
Turkey spinach meatballs
Greek yogurt with honey
All kinds of bread
Nancy’s blueberry kefir
Good Belly probiotic mango juice

We celebrated today by sharing an oatmeal from Jamba Juice and visiting the brand new library in town. You loved every minute of it – it has a whole floor devoted to children full of books and a Hands-On Children Musuem-esque wing. We’ll definitely be going back!

Happy 15 months my Jem, Mama loves you!

… Oh so many ways to follow along …

with our girls days apart, its fun to read your documentation of her developmental skills! They're very similar and if I had the energy I'd list all of Sonja's milestones too. Happy 15 months little one!

You should jot some down! I was almost out of energy, but managed to type it up quick :) ________________________________From: Disqus <>To: thatmamagretchen@gmail.comSent: Tuesday, January 3, 2012 12:06 PMSubject: [thatmamagretchen] Re: That Mama Gretchen: 15 monthsDisqus generic email template

I am totally convinced that I will document like this for my next child, but I am so sad that I haven't for my first. He just turned one, so I guess it's not too late. Perhaps I should get on that…
