I hate to talk about Christmas before Thanksgiving, but have you seen the stores? They are brimming with all the flashy goodness of the holidays! It gets me so excited for the winter weather, family get togethers, and sweet treats. Oh, and gifts …
I like love gifts just as much as the next girl, but, on the gift front we’re toning down it down. In the conventional sense at least. We’re going a bit more traditional and homemade. More thoughtful and eco-friendly.
All those things lead to PLANNING AHEAD. Which, I get, is tough with little ones and work and life’s other demands. But, it is totally worth it. I’m doing my best to whip up a number of projects in the coming weeks, keep your eye out for Homemade Christmas posts. But, I’m also doing a fair share of my shopping through Etsy. Because if you can’t make homemade, the next best thing is to buy it!
One of my favorite new shops is Kat and Company. The shop is full of wood and fabric teethers, wood play food and kitchen supplies, and Waldorf dolls. Jemma has been chewing on her teether for a few weeks now and she loves it!
Here’s a little about Sara, the owner of Kat and Company …
