Jemma and I surprised Daddy at work with lunch today. We had been running errands and our last stop was Costco – what better place for lunch? We grabbed pizza and a hot dog and made our way to his cabinet shop.
After lunch Dominic gave us a tour of the new cabinet show room. It is in the midst of some additions and I fell in love with some of the new, modern options. One kitchen has an amazing information center built in. Swoon! It has a desk, upper cabinets and file drawers … exactly what every mother needs, a place to organize everything under the sun! I made Dominic promise I would have my very own information center … someday :) I’ll dec it out in modern pizazz and call it “Mama Central”. Things like a sweet round chair, bright fabric covered memo board and lots of little baskets for storage will be the icing on the cake. A place to call my own; a place to put my brain in order.
Until my information center becomes a reality I’ll continue organizing my brain throughout the house – a pile of mail on the kitchen counter, a to-do list on the couch, an envelope of coupons tucked in a basket of random things I need to deal with. Yes, I obviously need Mama Central to make an appearance soon!
