2024 Holiday Gift Guide

It’s that time of year!

If you’re on the lookout for great gift ideas for the whole family you’ve stopped by the right place. I’ve been gathering options for all ages – moms and dads included – and am excited to share the gems of the season! Some things we have and love, some things will actually be under our tree, and some are pie in the sky dreams …

Some things we already own and love, some things will actually be under our tree (shhhhh, surprises!), and some are pie in the sky dreams for someday. Bottom line, they’re ll great gift ideas! Happy shopping, happy countdown to Christmas, and most of all, happy birthday Jesus. After all, the concept of gift giving is inspired by his story.

Gifts for Dad

  • Want: Dads like useful things, yes? Here’s something great for the sports fan and another for the outdoor guy!
  • Need: After one to many taco mishaps, Dominic is convinced we need these taco trays. Only time will tell if we’ll actually remember to bring them out when I serve Mexican food :)
  • Wear: Dominic’s latest closet addition came from Poncho Outdoors … and now he’s hoping there might be another one under the tree.
  • Read: With four boys we are always aiming to learn! This year, Meg Meeker’s Boys Should Be Boys seemed like a solid pick.

Gifts for Mama

  • Want: I want a quilted porch coat like from Watson & Mayberry MADE BY MY MOTHER AS A FOREVER KEEPSAKE, but I think I’ll be settling with a pair of Dr. Martens Chelsea boots :) Mom, are you reading this?! I love you!!!
  • Need: You will not regret this legging organizer for your closet, and, since it is such a deal, consider something else essential >>> Bloom Nutrition Colostrum and Collagen Peptides. It’s the perfect addition to shakes, smoothies, or coffee and so important for us aging mothers :)
  • Wear: A few years ago it was my New Year goal to slowly switch out to all matching pajamas and now I love my sets! The latest and greatest came from Forever French … this bamboo set is BUTTER and I love the story behind the print.
  • Read: $5 hardback book, yes please! I can’t wait to both read and gift copies of Create Anyway.

Gifts for Teens

  • Want: Jemma is a big fan of Calista hair tools, especially the FAUXblo Thermal Blowout Brush from Calista.
  • Need: Lets just say I’m tired of my chargers being swiped … it is 100% a NEED that my teen get her own charger that has allllll the ports. This one from Limitless Innovations is on major sale and, well, I kind of “need” one for myself too at that price!
  • Wear: Wide leg and flare and slouch … it’s all in – again! Love this lounge set for teens (and moms too?!)
  • Read: Dare I say this Taylor Swift book has educational value? I’m actually a bit excited to read the story/inspo behind her poetic lyrics.

Gifts for Tweens

  • Want: Record player meets CD player … this will potentially be the gift of the season! I could see us all enjoying it. Especially since I’m pairing it with the Wicked soundtrack!
  • Need: Jemma got these swim goggles for swim team and the boys borrowed them recently. Apparently they’re “THE BEST!” and the boys would each like their own pair now.
  • Wear: My tween loves a good hoodie and with an upcoming Disney trip I couldn’t pass up a cheeky one from Happiest Tees on Earth.
  • Read: We recently jumped into The Restorationists series and I’m thrilled because it is clean, full of adventure, and educational (you learn a bit about art/art history throughout the story). We are excited for book 2!

Gifts for Elementary Kids

  • Want: Cross my heart, Storyphones will be a loved home and travel activity. Plus, the assortment of StoryShields is growing and growing! I love gifts that start with a base item that you can add to for upcoming holidays like Easter baskets and birthdays.
Need: For budding artists, new art supplies are always a hit – this light box is priced just right for tracing practice.
Wear: New hats are always finding their way into our collection but rather than another, I’m going to help with the hat storage situation for the “wear” category.
Read: I ordered the boys Bushel + Peck books this year because how do you pass up a buy 2 get 2 free sale?! This publisher has beautiful, quality books that I just know our family will love.

Gifts for Preschoolers

  • Want: A Hot Wheels storage carrier that is also a race track? Yes please!
  • Need: Charlie is without wheels so this Christmas seemed the perfect time to get him the Joovy Bicycoo Balance Bike. And matching helmet!
  • Wear: Baby Starters has the coziest book themed pajamas – I mean, who can pass up Eric Carle pajamas?!
  • Read: An alphabet book with the best illustrations. And/or a classic Eric Carle because ^^^ who doesn’t love matching gifts.
