We’re having a quiet, at home Christmas this year and it has been all sorts of relaxing. Lots of treats and movies and snuggles! We’ve been in pajamas for days and our biggest to do is to go see Little Women sometime over break.
I didn’t unpack our Christmas decor until the 20th so we never did start on our Advent reading; we barely got our tree decorated! Reid is REALLY into Santa this year despite our discussions about the true meaning of Christmas. Eli has learned to say, “presents” and Jemma graduated to my little helper elf this year. Max is mega thankful for everything and puts on quite the scene of excitement. Two, almost four, seven, and nine years old are pretty fun around the holidays!
As always, I can’t wait for the New Year, but until then we’re embracing the peace and joy of the Christmas season. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
