Five Favorites

The clock is approaching 1AM and my littlest bumpkins will be awake for the day before I know it, buuuuuuut I’ve had this post in the works for way too many days so, here I am. Enjoy these recent faves …

ONE — We keep our house cold. The heat doesn’t turn on until 59 degrees. It’s just most economical. Are we crazy? When does your heat turn on? Anyways, I bought these L.L. Bean slippers to keep my feet and ankles warm and they’re perfection. Perfection I tell ya! Plusalso, when you shop online, remember to use Ebates … you’ll earn a percent back and on your first purchase you get a bonus $10. I earn a little too if you use my link :)

TWO — I’m back to running, it’s hard and awesome and this is the plan I’m using.

THREE — My general rule when it comes to buying new books is that they have to be somewhat reference/educational related. Something we’ll revisit year to year rather than a one time story.  That means Jemma and I both get all our novels from the library, same with picture books (although we have purchased some super favorites).

The Ology is one we tested out at the library, but after 3 renewals it has landed on our official wish list for our home library. So often Biblical principles are hard to convey in child appropriate language while still being Scripturally sound. The Ology covers it all!

FOUR — Artists amaze me. And this one is no exception. I think I’d like a handful of these prints for the school room shelves. Starting with this Little House on the Prairie rendition.

FIVE — Disney + pins = amazing. I’m a collector at heart and collecting pins with my kids is one of my favorite things. Now these aren’t officially Disney, but I’m in love. They are FABULOUS. Because, let’s be real “Shut Up And Take My Money“.

Over and out, happy Monday!
