This + That

There’s no better way to begin my lazy year than with a round up of all the fantastic things other fine folk are up to, right?

Technically, I’m not being lazy AT ALL. Our house has a closing date, we’re packing to move, I’m still homeschooling Jem, and juggling a work from home schedule. Every time I say “work from home” I laugh. Because it’s so counterproductive. To actually work from home with children underfoot. And that’s why I’m usually behind and scattered and rushing about to complete things at the last minute because during the day, they’re my focus, and in the evening I try to crunch in all the things.

And that’s also when I’d prefer to binge watch shows like Reign (cannot wait for season 4 in February!) and read in the bath tub. Se la vie.

But, I’m doing better. With everything. Mostly. Because my word of the year is discipline! And 5 days in, I’m still completing what I committed to do each day. More on that later though, now, this and that for your enjoyment …

With our move, Max is leaving his beloved preschool. So, to ease the transition and keep him learning I ordered this for him to play/learn with during move month. He’s an iPad fanatic *eye roll* so I’m sure it will be a hit.
