My Reid

Before Reid had his thumb surgery I scheduled a photo shoot with our family photography. I wanted to capture some special photos of his double thumb along with his almost 9 month cuteness. The big kids and I didn’t plan to join in on these photos. It was a hot, summer day and we’d spent it away from home. We were tousled and ready for bed, but I’m so glad Christine had us join in for a few. Such sweet moments of what every day life looks like with 3 pieces of my heart.

And now, I cry, because Reid is 11 months in just a few days. How? This boy has brought such a light into our family. Jemma and Max adore him and he leaves me wanting to freeze time on the daily. Oh, my Reid … you are loved and cherished and so special to our family.
