22 + 23 Weeks

How far along: 23 weeks, 1 day

Gender: Baby boy on the horizon!

Weight gain: Plus 10 pounds. Maybe more seeing that I just bought Lucky Charms in bulk at Costco.

Sleep: Good. I’ve been staying up later and napping during the day and it seems to be a good balance.

Best moment this week: Nesting has moved in early and strong. I’ve been cleaning and sorting like crazy and it feels fabulous! The kitchen is spic + span, same with my closet, Jemma’s room is next and then Dom and I are attacking the garage together!

Worst moment this week: We’ve cut TV 100% for the kids and are on day 4. It has been rough, but the worst will most definitely be moving towards the best soon. I can feel it.

Miss anything: Running. Well, not the painful parts. But the accomplished feeling part.

Movement: For sure!

Cravings: Lucky Charms. Two nights in a row now I’ve had myself a big bowl! And Pumpkin Spice debuts on the 8th and I can hardly wait!

Queasy or sick? Nope. Feeling pretty wonderful these days.

Looking forward to: I honestly look forward to my midwife appointments. She is just a wonderful friend and expert. I really love visiting and learning from her. Next one is the 10th!

What Jemma thinks: “When I’m a big sister …” This is how many of her sentences start these days :)

What Max thinks: “Shhhh! I need to hear the heart beat!” Every morning when he wakes up and every day when we snuggle for naps he rests his head on my tummy and listens. It’s the sweetest!
