The Birthday Turned Christmas Wish List

Welcome to the December 2014 Carnival of Natural Parenting: Greatest Gifts

This post was written for inclusion in the monthly Carnival of Natural Parenting hosted by Hobo Mama and Code Name: Mama. This month our participants have suggested go-to gifts and gifting experiences for the holiday season for all your loved ones.

Back in October I started working on a fun little wish list to feature some of the things I’ve been loving lately – and then I forgot! Such is motherhood, right? The pregnancy brain turns into no sleep brain which turns into busy toddler brain and all that combined leaves me with a very poor memory.

Lucky for you, Christmas falls shortly after my birthday and so I’m turning my birthday wish list into a Christmas wish list – minus this, which is what I got for my birthday and is currently on clearance AND 30% off :)

Christmas Wish List

Bambooee /// After seeing these on Shark Tank I can’t get them out of my mind. Have you tried them?

Chico Bags /// Our county has a plastic bag ban so even though I’ve always tried to use reusable shopping bags I have to be even more vigilant now.

It All Starts With Food /// I love books, always have. Right now I’ve got a tight relationship with the library, but this one deserves a spot on my bookshelf I believe.

Geode Bookends /// Speaking of books, aren’t these divine?

Via Velo Bike Trailer /// In the spring, maybe sooner I want to take up biking with the kids. So far, this brand/model/style is my most favorite.

Inspirational Coffee Mugs /// I love waking up with coffee sips and sounds advice :)

Smart Wool Socks /// I wear boots all winter and Smart Wool are my favorite socks boot companions.

Michael Kors Watch /// The one I love is out of stock, but this is a close second AND ON SALE!

Archer + Hare Studs /// I wear my rough ruby ones all the time, peridot is next on my wish list!

Inner Beauty Cosmetic Bag /// Do I need a new cosmetic bag? No. Do I want this one? Yes, yes I do.

Other things worth mentioned, but not worth including a photo … an electric pencil sharpener (homeschooler’s dream) and a monthly maid to deep clean my kitchen and bathrooms. Talk about the greatest birthday Christmas combination gift ever!

OH! And I don’t know how I could forget (but I did, because, #mombrain) … the Mahogany Tree of Life Tablecloth! My friend, Abbie, is a beautiful seamstress who specializes in babywearing conversations and dye jobs over at EMA Design and I think this tablecloth may turn into a ring sling someday in the future! Isn’t it beautiful?!?

What’s on your mama wish list right now?
