I don’t think I mentioned that I too participated in the summer reading program alongside my kids. During the months of June, July and August I read 9 books. Not a bad average for an overtired, busy mama, right?
I’m going to keep the reading ball rolling and continue to utilize our fabulous library this fall. Here’s what is on my fall reading list …
Notes from a Blue Bike: The Art of Living Intentionally in a Chaotic World by Tsh Oxenreider
If the title of this book isn’t up my alley I don’t know what is!?!
Dollbaby by Laura Lane McNeil
I joined a book club (also known as a guaranteed once a month mama only evening)! This is our first book and written by one of my book club’s brother’s cousins … or something like that :)
A Million Little Ways: Uncover the Art You Were Made to Live by Emily P. Freeman
I loved this book by Freeman so figured it only made sense to give another one of hers a try.
Home by Marilynne Robinson
This sweet mama recommended it and I love just about everything she recommends so on to the list it goes!
Graduation Day by Joelle Charbonneau
Obsessed with this whole series. Let this be my premonition of another intriguing young adult series turned blockbuster.
Serena by Ron Rash
This one is on the docket for a 2014 movie release with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence so naturally I’m going to read the book first and then head to the movies to see how it all adds up.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
Everyone has read this, right? Well, now I’m going to too.
What’s on your fall reading list? Share in the comments and I’ll add them to my winter list :)
