A Note from World Vision

Thanks to the sheep given in your name through World Vision, an impoverished family will soon have wool for soft, warm, and long-lasting clothes. Sheep often give birth to twins or triplets, which can be sold at the market for added income–and their milk is up to twice as rich as cow’s milk in nutrients that growing kids need.

Together we raised a total of $65 to put towards the purchase of a sheep through World Vision. Thank you so much for your generosity! I am blessed to have such lovely and caring readers.

Many blessings to you and yours in the coming year!

I was hoping to raise enough to get an entire sheep but part of a sheep is better than no sheep! Yeah blog readers! For a number of years, my parents "weaned" us off of gifts by donating to a charity that reflected my siblings and my interests. Now that I have my own family, I think that we too will be donating a gift each year to a charity of our choice.

I think that is such a wonderful tradition to start with kids!
