Whether a SIDS deterrent or just a cute nightgown I am all about baby sleep sacks. Can you say adorable?

Aden +Anais has some sweet ones too. Supposedly only available online and specialty stores, but I just spied some at Target, both online and in the store by my work!
I’m pretty sure I’m going to get some of these, seems like a necessity to me :) I might also attempt to make some … you know, after I find my mom’s sewing machine in storage. I ran across these directions to add to my project list.
Have you used baby sleep sacks? What do you think? Do you like the ones with buttons at the top or bottom to top zippers?

Used them until Bishop was able to pull himself up in the crib. He would get all tangled up once he got to a point that he didn't just lay there. I would say they are good for 6 months. Oh and Zippers for sure over buttons. In the middle of the night buttons are annoying.

I used them for both girls. I dressed them in the gowns that are open at the bottom and then stuffed them in a sack that zippered up. The slept beautifully and diaper changes were a breeze!

Yes, we are huge fans of sleepsacks, specifically Halo SleepSacks! My now 3yr slept in them for a long time, and my 3mo is currently in the swaddle version. Halo ones have the inverted zipper, and I do like that feature. And I also like that part of the proceeds go to SIDS research.

I loved the good old Carter's zip from top to bottom sleep sacks. I would put Emma in footie pajamas and then zip one of those over the top until she was a good 18 months old or so! Eli wore them for about the first year. They are the best!
