And, something to consider …
I’m going to take a step of faith and share something the Lord has laid on my heart. It seems to fit perfectly with Wool Week which is why I’m including it here.

Have you had a chance to peruse World Vision’s Gift Catalog this year?

Last night, I was reading it in the bath and this page jumped out at me. It’s about a sheep and how it can change a family’s life. Here’s a look at how a sheep impacted one family …

This past week, we all learned about the amazing benefits of wool – just one product that a sheep provides. I’m hopeful that we can join together and purchase one sheep for a family this Christmas. There were close to 1,000 entries in the Wool Week giveaways and if each of those entries equaled $1 – we could buy 10 sheep!!! My hope is that together we can purchase just one.

If you were a part of Wool Week, or even if you weren’t, would you consider making a small donation toward a sheep this Christmas?

The total cost for one sheep is $105 and I’ve set up a donate button through Paypal so it is safe and easy to join in the continuing wool fun!

If you’re catching up through a reader and can’t see the donate button here, visit the blog and it’s in the top left corner as well as in this post :)

I’m hoping to send off our donation the first week of December, so consider how much you can give ($1, $2, $5, $10 … whatever you can spare) and share with others on Facebook, Twitter, and your blog. I’ll keep a running total in the top left of the ol’ blog and post about it each week as well so we can watch the progress together!

Thank you again for your participation in Wool Week – I’m hoping this final addition of BUYING A SHEEP will be the best part of all!!!
