Spring is all about Daddy in our home. First, his birthday at the end of May and then a few weeks later, Father’s Day!
It’s usually Dominic’s wish to plan a family activity – hiking or bowling or something else he loves and wants to introduce the kids to, eat some good food – homemade chicken wings have been the choice for quite a few years, and then, indulge in a good ol’ fashioned nap. Pretty solid Father’s Day if you ask me!

Of course, I take over 100% of kid wake-ups, diaper duty, and all the other parent work for his special weekend. And man, that means after Father’s Day, I’m ready for Mother’s Day round two, lol! Our crew keeps us busy for sure!
Since Dominic’s birthday and Father’s Day are so close, he usually opts for one, larger gift. This year I have gobs to choose from because he’s amping up his outdoor gear stash. We have a gift line item on our budget, but I always try to save a little extra from our May and June spending to boost his present a bit and really surprise him.
One of the best ways I’ve accomplished this is by shopping online (does stuff you “need” fall into your cart like it does mine when you go out browsing … even with a list?!?) and stacking Amazon coupons with Amazon Family Subscribe & Save. Thanks to Amazon I save gas and time without sacrificing things our family needs to function. Love me some Amazon!
Save with me by ordering diapers (and all of life’s other necessities) on Amazon and put the dollars you save towards a Father’s Day surprise for dad!
Right now you can save up to $3 off on Huggies, Pull-Ups, and GoodNites PLUS up to 20% off if you add them to your Subscribe & Save. Here’s the home page for each brand included so you can easily add the size/quantity your family needs to your cart! Then, boom, it’ll be on your door in just a few days.
