It was a hazy day in early August when I met my amazing photographer at Tolmie State Park for maternity photos. I was about to hit the 35 week mark and the baby bump was definitely ready to be captured in all its’ glory!
Christine of LCS Photography has taken all of my maternity photos (here’s a peek of Jemma’s session, Max’s session, and Reid’s session), 2 of my births, and many of our family photos too. She’s a wonder and I’m quite bummed that we now live far away from her … not only because Christine is a friend (that’s the main reason), but because she won’t be able to photograph this little one’s birth.
Se le vie.
Prep yourself for some of Dominic’s best efforts when it comes to actual birth photos this round … or our doula’s or Jemma’s or whoever is close to the camera I’m planning to set out. Just pray someone snaps something!
Anyway, back to my maternity photos.
I really struggled with what to wear this round and in the end went with a mix of classic black and a little trendy thanks to this flowy tie-dye number. I’m sure this baby will grow up calling me his hippie mama for the latter choice. Whatevs. I have thick skin. And a hippie heart. So we’re all good.
Without further adieu, baby 4 ‘s maternity photo session!
P.S. The Clinique gals at the mall did my make-up for free! They were the sweetest and so excited to help me feel extra beautiful for my photo shoot. And, my sister curled my hair because I told her I’d get too sweaty if I tried to do it myself :) Big love to all the people who happily rally around massively pregnant ladies to make them feel special! I for one, am very thankful!
