I’m on a massive countdown to fall.
And yes, that means I’m complaining about the weather again. Pregnant ladies can do whatever they want, haven’t you heard? Because ya’ll, summer pregnancies are HARD! I mean, the heat! I die! I swear this summer has been 10x worse than the years I was pregnant with Jem (born in early October) and Max (born last week 5 years ago). Then again, my memory has also been shot by motherhood, soooooo.
Even though fall won’t officially be here until late September I’ve always thought of September 1st as the real kick off to the best season of the year.
I mean, September brings …
- Pumpkin Spice (yes, I’m one of those girls)
- Back to school
- Less heat (at least that’s what I’m PRAYING for)
- This year, baby :)
And I do believe that September is on the way because last night I didn’t have to turn on the AC. And yesterday I actually grabbed this burgundy tribal print cardigan (a medium, if you’re curious) to warm up my very favorite pocket dress (a large, because the girls and baby bump need all the space they can get) when we left the house. Hallelujah! Signs of fall for sure! Even if they are itsy bitsy.
What do you love about fall? Are you ready to fall out of summer with me?!?
Dress and cardigan c/o Pink Blush and their AMAZING maternity lines! I can’t get enough of their comfortable maternity dresses and am excited to try a number of their nursing friendly pieces soon … like in a mere 2-6 weeks!
