FAMILY PHOTO DAY … top, Cynthia Rowley, TJ Maxx | skinnies, American Eagle | flats, Target | necklace + earrings, c/o Brave Sunday | watch, Fossil Outlet | sunglasses, TOMS
Call me corny, but what better day of the week to share my new favorite shop … BRAVE SUNDAY!
Last week, while our extended family was in town, we hiked our hineys out to a pretty lil’ park and my mama snapped some family photos. And then, some of just me :)
I finally bought a pair of skinnies that aren’t baggy on me. High five! Postpartum weight loss, albeit my voracious appetite due to breastfeeding a giant 20 month old, has done a number on how my clothes fit. Knowing that I’ll fill out a bit when Max weans has made me hesitant to buy high school sized clothing, but whatevs, I wear these skinnies almost everyday so I’m getting my money’s worth for sure. And, this Cynthia Rowley lady who designed up my top? I’d never heard of her until I fell in love with the whole display at TJ Maxx. I snagged a pair of skinny slacks by her too and I’m thinking of dressing them up for Easter. We shall see.
With my fluctuating size I’ve relied heavily on accessories to feel myself ever since my first round of being with child back in 2010. Scarves and jewelry always fit – hallelujah. That should be in caps – HALLELUJAH! I’m super excited to have added Brave Sunday’s Olympus Texture Disc Necklace and Half & Half Small Beaded Hoops to my accessory repertoire. Aren’t they just lovely?
Brave Sunday is a mama owned shop run by my dear friend Jill … meet her over on Brave Sunday’s Instagram. She is a true creative and talented designer. I’m smitten with so many of her pieces – wonderful color combinations and delicate, but durable styles. Add one to your Easter basket (mama’s deserve those too!) or plan ahead for Mother’s Day! I’m wishing for these next!
