Some of our extended family is in town from the land of Texas this week and we’re adventuring to the max! We’ve bounced between a few cities and Wednesday landed us in Seattle – specifically, Pike’s Place Market, the original Starbucks, Molly Moon’s Ice Cream, Seattle Children’s Museum and finally, Blue Moon Burgers. All highly recommended if you’re ever in Washington!
Jem donned her Pacific Northwest layers for our day and as her Daddy said, “She sure rocks that urban chic look!” Yes, my three year old has “urban chic” world, everything is better if it’s purple.

In that last photo she is munching on a pint of blueberries – her chosen lunch, because … kindasorta purple. And she’s strolling through the market like she’s 14 or something super old and I can hardly take it. Shortly after though she asked to ride on my back in our trusty Tula so I was able to swallow my tears and press onward with all our sights and FOOD. Golly, Seattle knows how to do food. Especially those gyros at the market. Ohmygoodness. Who needs to visit Greece when you’ve got market gyros?
Little side story, as if my gyro gushing wasn’t one … one of the office gals at our chiropractor’s office often wears her headbands on top of her hair/across her forehead – boho style. Jemma adores her and will not, under any circumstance, wear her headbands any way other than “the Randi way”.
So, to all things purple and “the Randi way” – Jemma salutes you. You will forever be her fashion inspiration.
Now, a giveaway from the one and only Little Hip Squeaks! They blessed Jem with her rockin’ swing dress and matching headband and are giving away a $50 credit for you to shop for your munchkin(s)! Enter below and swoon over their pieces – someday baby numero tres must have this and Jemma is pining for these! See? Swoonable!

From 2-3 years old Jemma didn't like anything in her hair – now she is enjoying getting "fancy". LHS headbands are stretchy so I'm thinking she'll get a good few years of wear with them still!

I have little boys on the way, so I think I prefer the cozy hoodie in charcoal tally!
