Resolving /// to let go, and let God. I’m a type A person, I prefer to have control and obviously, this isn’t realistic is all circumstances. I can’t keep my children well 100% of the time, I can’t see into the future, I can’t hold my breath until Dominic senses that the dishwasher needs to be unloaded :) Sometimes it is just best for me to sit back, settle in and appreciate the natural flow of life. #livingonloveproject
Anticipating /// a trip to Idaho in the spring! My bestie had her second baby right before Christmas and I’m crossing my fingers for a flight deal so I can go visit. Max will tag along because I don’t see weaning in our near future and Jemma will get a few days of one on one time with her Dad or Aunt. It’s going to be swell!
Eating /// chocolate chip cookies with mini chocolate chips (so much better!) and Maldron salt sprinkled on top. Mmmm!
Making /// deals happen! We’ve been without end tables and a coffee table since our new couches joined us this fall. It has been on my radar to find the right piece at the right price and it finally happened! End tables for $40 each at a going out of business sale and then I hunted down the matching coffee table. To make a long story short, the end tables were from World Market, but the line was discontinued. The nearest coffee table match was in New Mexico. For the cost of shipping, World Market agreed to ship it to my local store where I purchased it for 75% off – the current markdown since it was a discontinued item! Brand new, LOVELY coffee table for $65! Plus $70 shipping, but whatever – they match and I love it and I couldn’t find anything decent on Craigslist for less than $200 so, I’m happy. Slowly but surely our college furniture is finding its’ way out of our home. It’s about time.
Remembering /// that my life doesn’t have to look like Pinterest to be perfect.

Yay for furniture scores! I am excited to finish working on the Sister Room furniture project – just need to convince the hubs that Annie Sloan paint IS worth it. That is a project in itself.
