DIY Mason Jar Sugar Shaker with Washi Tape

Yippee skippy – a fun little tutorial today! This DIY Sugar Sugar marries three of my favorite things – mason jars, washi tape and sugar – so it’s pretty much perfection :)
First up – grab your supplies …
  • 1 mason jar with ring
  • 1 roll of pretty washi tape 
  • The top of a cardboard container of salt … if you need to use up salt in a hurry, make play dough 
Step 1 | Peel off the spout sticker, especially if you’re using a light colored washi tape
Step 2 | Open the spout and carefully stick your washi tape on all four sides of the spout, rolling down the sides. Just make sure all the white is covered.
Step 3 | Keep going! Switch up directions and don’t stress over making it perfect.
Step 4 | Press your salt lid on top of the mason jar, it’s a tight fit but it works :) I’ve found that the Great Value brand of salt from WalMart fits a little bit better than regular Morton salt. Then add the mason jar ring and …
