Easter {in pictures}

We sang Overcome on Easter and I’ve had the lyrics running through my mind all week. It’s such a powerful reminder of what Easter is all about. And it’s true, the testimonies that come from Christ’s amazing sacrifice are like no other.

This year we celebrated our first Easter in the new house! After church the sun came out to play and we enjoyed some yummy grub with a little March Madness playing in the background. Jemma experienced her first Easter egg trail leading from the top of the stairs all the way to her Easter basket and Max sported his very first pair of plaid shorts. If that doesn’t say “Easter”, I don’t know what does! I’ll let the pictures explain the rest of our activities …

 I’m counting this as our first successful sister/brother photo – they’re both looking at the camera!

And that’s that! A perfect Easter. Well, all except for the fact that the only family photo we had ended up on Instagram instead of my real camera. Se la vie.
