Peach Duff

Here’s the scoop – if you don’t make this ASAP, we can no longer be friends.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 4-6 peaches (about 1 1/2 pounds), peeled and thickly sliced

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Melt butter in an 8 inch baking pan or pie dish
  • Sift together dry ingredients
  • Slowly add milk and stir until flour mixture is moistened
  • Spoon the batter evenly onto the melted butter
  • Arrange peach slices on top of the batter
  • Bake for 35 minutes 
  • Serve lightly warm
  • With whipped cream or ice cream … obviously
