I'd agree with SO many on this list. I kept pestering Tom for pregnancy pictures – we never took any when I was pregnant with Kieran, and I was worried that we wouldn't get any with Ailia (esp. since this will likely be our last baby – sniff!). Fortunately, we got several shots that I love :)Can't wait to see your #2!!

I never got any professional type maternity pictures, but I did take "belly pics" at specific intervals. I never would have thought to do it if I wasn't involved with online "mommy boards" where this was a common practice. I am glad I have them now, because I don't have a lot of photos that even show my belly otherwise. Though I wish I had smiled more in them…

Ahhh, yes…papaya enzymes and chlorphyll were my go-to for heartburn. They've helped so much! I hope we get to do professional maternity pictures this time around! I don't have any from being pregnant with Andrew and I really regret it!

NAP TIME!! lol! Yes, yes. I worked full time through my first and part time through my second. I am LOVING staying at home with this one. Esther (4) isn't too nappy lately, but I can at least count on some down time! Good to know on the papaya enzyme. (I have awful heartburn as I type!!) Is it a pill or tablet sort of thing? Chewing gum helps to a point just by creating extra saliva, but it just gets to the point where I can't handle it anymore!! :) Great list, Gretchen! Thanks so much for participating!

Nap time! Yes! All of your suggestions are spot-on, but nap-time is the one that resonates most with me! Even if Abbey wouldn't lay down and sleep in her room, or if she woke up from her nap early, the time from 3-4PM during my pregnancy was *mommy rest time* – I didn't do ANYTHING during that time period if I could help it except lay in bed or in a bath! :)

Good suggestions! I am having my first prenatal massage of this pregnancy next Friday. Can't wait!I'm going to check out that sports bra recommendation right now. I really need one!

Ahhhh nap time! I never got nap time while I was pregnant but I could have easily taken one daily. Great list! And I do regret not getting professional maternity pictures taken. Although our run down chicken coup does add ambience to the photos we did take!

Naps sound amazing! I don't think I got to take many, but I know I would have loved the opportunity!

Nap time is still an essential to me and I'm obviously not pregnant anymore. :-P I love laying down with both of the girls nursing and get some shut eye. Even on days where I try to nap, but can't, it's still very helpful to get that quiet time just laying there with them. Helps with ecological breastfeeding too!
ThatMamaGretchen says
I'm so hopeful for naps with both children!
ThatMamaGretchen says
I didn't take any with my 1st pregnancy, it's just been this 2nd one that I've been at home. Makes such a difference in my energy level.

I love Charlie's pictures! We do have a family friend who takes all our family stuff though. She's been our girl since our engagement pics!
ThatMamaGretchen says
I haven't tried chlorphyll – I needed something extra last night!
ThatMamaGretchen says
Belly pics are the best – I'm getting pretty decent at taking my own too :) Can't wait until Jemma learns to point and shoot :)
ThatMamaGretchen says
Yay! Glad you got some from Ailia to cherish :)

I started blogging after I quit my job to be a SAHM when my 1st child turned 3 months old, hence no blogging or journalling about my 1st pregnancy, so yeah, I think it is good to blog or journal about our pregnancy journey!

I figured you had someone :)When are you going to let us all know the news?? :)
